Where Udienza films: the conferences of 2026
Where the Udienza podcast filmed in 2026: FOSDEM, KubeCon Europe and Japan, AGNTCon + MCPCon and Open Source Summit Europe, and what a media partnership means.

Udienza films where the people who build what you run already are: the booth, the hallway, the speaker room. Not a studio. In 2026 that has meant five conferences in four cities, and two of them list the show as a media partner. This is where the episodes come from, what the show did in each room, and what a media partnership is and is not. The video above is eighty-two seconds from the fourth of them.
FOSDEM 2026, Brussels
31 January and 1 February, at the ULB campus: more than 8,000 people, 1,013 talks and the hallway track FOSDEM is known for. The show’s first conversation was recorded there.
The host, Luca Berton, first published it as a written interview; the episode page adds the chapters, the takeaways and the full transcript. No partnership, and no badge beyond a visitor’s. FOSDEM has no press programme, and the show needed none: the people were in the corridors.
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2026, Amsterdam
23 to 26 March, RAI Amsterdam. The host held media accreditation from the CNCF and also spoke, on orchestrating multi-tenant GPUs on OpenShift AI. Three episodes come from that week, filmed in the interview rooms and on the floor.
A fourth conversation from Amsterdam, on what a European public cloud is for, is cut and waiting for its Tuesday.
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan 2026, Yokohama
28 to 30 July. Media accreditation again, which meant the CNCF press briefing on 29 July and a seat for the keynotes. One episode came home from Yokohama.
The host’s notes from the week are on lucaberton.com: the keynotes and the press briefing.
AGNTCon + MCPCon Europe 2026, Amsterdam
17 and 18 September, RAI Amsterdam again: more than 2,000 people at the Agentic AI Foundation’s first European event, produced with the Linux Foundation. This was the show’s first media partnership, confirmed by the Linux Foundation’s events team in August and listed under the host’s name, because the show did not have its name yet.
Five conversations were recorded on the floor, all on one question from different seats: what has to be true for an agent to run in production.
The host’s write-ups of the two days are on lucaberton.com: day one, day two and the key takeaways.
Open Source Summit Europe 2026, Prague
7 to 9 October. The Linux Foundation lists Udienza as a media partner, the first event to carry the show’s own name and logo. The host is filming there this week; the next episodes come from Prague.
What a media partnership is, and is not
Udienza has two media partnerships, each for one event and each confirmed in writing by the organiser: AGNTCon + MCPCon Europe 2026 and Open Source Summit Europe 2026. At KubeCon Europe and KubeCon Japan the show held media accreditation, which is a press badge, not a partnership. The footer of every page here says which is which, and nothing goes there without the organiser’s written confirmation.
A partnership gives the show the schedule early, the press room, introductions to speakers, a logo on the event page and a mention from the organiser. It does not give anyone a say in who sits in the other chair or what gets asked. Guests are chosen for what they built. Sponsors never pick the guest, the questions or the edit, and neither do partners.
For a ten-minute show, that access is the format. The people in these episodes do not have an hour and would not fly to a studio; they are at these events anyway, and the show meets them there.

Run an event where these people are? Udienza partners with one event at a time, in writing, and asks for nothing but the rooms: hello@udienza.com. What a season sponsor gets, and does not get, is on the sponsor page.
