Privacy and cookies

Last updated 1 October 2026

This site is published by Open Empower BV, Amsterdam. You can reach us at hello@udienza.com. The short version: we count visits, and only if you let us.

Analytics, only after you accept

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which episodes people watch and which buttons they use. It runs only after you press Accept in the cookie notice. Until then nothing is loaded from Google and no analytics cookie is set.

If you accept, Google Analytics stores two cookies in your browser:

What is sent: the pages you open, the links and buttons you press (for example which podcast platform you chose or which episode you played), the kind of device and browser, and a rough location derived from your IP address. Google processes this on our behalf; Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP address. Google's own notice is at policies.google.com.

If you press Reject, nothing changes for you: the site works the same and we simply do not count your visit. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page.

Video and images from YouTube

Episode pages show a still image first. The YouTube player loads only when you press play, through youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. From that moment YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies under its own terms. The still images are copied from YouTube when the site is built and served from this site, so loading a page does not contact YouTube at all.

Newsletter

The subscribe form posts your email address to Kit (kit.com), which sends the newsletter and holds the list. We do not keep a copy of your address on this site. Kit's small form script loads only once you touch the form, to confirm your subscription in place; nothing from Kit runs on page view. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel. Like every web server, it records requests (IP address, browser, time, page) in short-lived logs that are used to keep the service running and to detect abuse.

What we do not do
